Simon Wilby: The Smart One Uses Solar Power

Inventor Simon Wilby, tired of being cut off mid call because his cellular phone’s battery kept dying on him came up with the brilliant idea of making a device that converts cellular phones to solar power. His invention, named The Smart One turned out better than imagined. The Smart One is so efficient at collecting light energy and storing it as usable power for cell phones that even ambient light is enough to keep mobile charged, eliminating the need for conventional wall socket chargers completely.

If one considers that some 3 billion cell phone users worldwide have probably experienced the same frustration that prompted The Smart One’s invention, then one understands why Simon Wilby firmly believes he’s on to something big.

Simon Wilby has been busy finding other applications for the technology that made The Smart One possible. Practical solar powered laptops, gaming consoles, and music players are closer than you might imagine. The smart money says going “green” makes sense.
